DISCLAIMER/PLEASE READ: I made this DIY adapter out of frustration when MSR seemingly no longer made their official adapter available for the public. As it is a DIY solution, please expect some minor cosmetic blemishes as making them requires some slight modifications to the Nalgene caps to ensure that the water fitting and washer sit flush against the cap. Please let me know if you have any questions!

- if you experience any leaking around the fitting, ensure the locknut is properly tightened
- while not tested with other bladders, this product should in theory work with any bladder/container that has the standard 63mm wide mouth cap thread (i.e. the threads used on the common Nalgene wide mouth bottle)
OVERVIEW:
This kit allows you to convert your MSR Dromedary® or DromLite™ water bag into a hydration bladder or water collection bag for use within gravity filter setups. While MSR used to have available a kit that allowed their Dromedary® bags to be used as hydration bladders, they are seemingly no longer available. This is a homemade solution.
FEATURES:
- adjustable, 360-degree output elbow (allows you the ability to position the output water tube at whatever angle needed for your end use)
- allows you to use your Dromedary® bag as a water collection bag within gravity filter setups
INCLUDES:
- standard 63mm wide mouth cap (Low Density Polyethylene, LDPE)
- ¼” barbed output fitting (Nylon)
- locknut (Nylon)
- rubber sealing washer (Silicone)
- quick detach hydration tube
HOW TO ADJUST OUTPUT ANGLE:
- on the back of the cap, loosen the locknut until the output fitting is able to rotate
- rotate the elbow to the desired angle
- retighten the locknut firmly
